Right now we're waiting on a few major ranked-vs-ranked games to shape up these rankings.
It's still early days, but Arizona will play Utah Valley and Cal Poly this coming weekend, which is, yes, a warmup for both Arizona and CPSLO, and a good cross-border challenge for UVU, but is also an exciting early comparison for those western teams.
We also see this coming week with several other all-ranked teams. We sometimes give matchups a ranking rating, and we will here. A lower number means the two teams are both highly ranked and close-ish to each other. So, for example #3 vs #5 gives you a ranking rating of 4.1, while #1 vs #8 is 5.7.
