CRAA hosts their women’s 7s championship this weekend in Indianapolis and this provides the highest level of women’s 7s in the country.

The tournament, which has been held in its current form the last three years, consistently provides the best skill, tactics, and athleticism in the women’s game.

The Premier Bracket, which numbers nine teams this year, has nowhere to hide.

Pool A
Dartmouth
Lindenwood
Mount St. Mary’s

Pool B
Life
Harvard
Davenport

Pool C
Sacred Heart
Army
Princeton

Led by Sorensen Award winner Tiahna Padilla and with Lennox London, freshman sensation Sana’a Lunon, freshman sensation Gemma Ogoke, playmaker Skylar Jordan, and more, this Harvard team is definitely a favorite.

They won the Ivy 7s and are three-time NIRA 15s champs. They could definitely pull off the double.

Then again, they are in a pool with a Davenport team that always plays well in 7s and a Life team that is 100% capable of winning it all. Even without Bella Vogel (playing with the USA team), Life has speed, and power, to win it all.

Defending champs Dartmouth have Lindenwood in their pool and that will be a major fight. Dartmouth brings back most of the team that took the title on teamwork and smart ball movement in 2025.

Pool C is a bit more of a tossup and it will be interesting to see who comes out on trop. Army might have its most dangerous 7s team yet.

Fully 18 teams are in the Challenger Bracket, with six pools of three. This tournament brings opponents from seven states, with the most coming from California. Stanford has a strong case to be favorites here with an experienced group led by Sydney Davies and Journey WashingtonHigh, along with the added experience of Jara Emtage-Cave.

Claremont Colleges plays a wide open style, and Western Washington, led by Clementine Radoff, can make a statement in Pool E.

Cal Poly had a very strong 15s season and showed flashes of what they can do in 7s way back in the fall. Add in an Air Force team that knows how to move the ball and how to tackle, and a Cal team eager not to be overlooked and you have a very competitive bracket here.
