Rugby Colorado is probably going to not have any fall rugby, and will be in stiff competition for athletes in the spring.

The Colorado HS Athletic Association today announced that it will be shifting most of its sports to the winter and spring. Only Cross Country, Boys Golf, Boys Tennis, and Softball will be played in the fall.
Football, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, and Lacrosse (both boys and girls) will be played in March, April, and May.
That is probably when Rugby Colorado will play its HS season. The Rugby Colorado girls season is played in the fall but will likely shift.
Will this mean that there will be fewer kids playing rugby? You never know. It could mean that rugby will actually attract more.
