Indiana won the Yellow Rose Showcase 7s over the weekend to clinch a place in the NCR CRC 7s this spring.

IU ran the table beating, among others, Texas A&M, Southern Nazarene, and Harvard.

The 38-7 scoreline in the final against SNU is an indication of how strong this team is.

IU roster:
Evan Lawhead, Reuben Kruger, Dalen Blanding, Brannick Arbuckle, Joey Ries, Tommy Hannon, Matt Chevalier, Parker Wall, Mikey Cabreros, Jack Ries, Cillian Leyden, Andrew Arbes, Luke Schein.

This was just one bracket at the Yellow Rose

Sam Houston beat Baylor to win the D1 bracket. Denver University defeated Montana State to win the D2/D3 bracket. With MSU being a D2 team and Denver a D3 team, both qualified to their respective divisions in the CRC.

In Lancaster, Pa., St. Bonaventure unleashed an experienced and talented side that won the final over Fordham to clinch a place in the CRC.

Last week Notre Dame defeated Aquinas 12-5 to win the Sunshine 7s, a tournament in which Indiana (running out pretty much the same roster as at Yellow Rose) finished 3rd.

There are many, many more places to decide, but these teams can breathe a little easier.
