Coast Guard Wins ACRA 7s
Coast Guard Wins ACRA 7s
The American Collegiate Rugby Association (ACRA) 7s saw Coast Guard Academy win its 7s championships
ACRA is a group of mostly Northeast women's D2-level rugby conferences that runs a 15s championship in the fall and 7s in the spring. They have essentially adopted the Rocky Mountain Conference as well, and the entire group maintains membership with USA Rugby.
Each conference sent two teams to the championship except for the Rocky Mountain, which sent only its champion, Colorado Mesa. That left one more spot and Vassar, the 15s ACRA champion took that. Vassar lost in the semifinals of the Tri-State Conference championship but it was the only loss of the season. So they secured an at-large bid.

In the placement games, Fairfield edged Temple 19-15 for 5th. Columbia beat Vassar 26-12 to take this, and in the final Coast Guard took care of Colorado Mesa four tries to one 20-7
