It remains a question as to who will finish the season on top in Florida, but we're starting to get an idea.

Okapi

Wins over Key Biscayne, Naples, and, this past weekend, Cardinal Gibbons, Okapi is now 3-0. It was a tight one against Cardinal Gibbons (see more about that below.)

Okapi faces a stern test against a pretty useful Boynton Beach side in two weeks.

Jacksonville

Champions last year, the Wolverines have some turnover, but are improving.

This past week, Jax beat Tampa 31-22 in a pretty tough game. Tampa is big, and Jacksonville often finds success making big teams run around a lot.

But their had a big man, too, in prop Brian Finley III, who scored a try and was a monster on defense. Ellis Davis scored again. The very, very quick outside center has scored five tries in three games. Wing Azah Kani scored too to win that game.

Boca Raton

Boca logged a nice win over Cardinal Gibbons two weekends ago and then beat Naples 41-12. 

Cape Pirates

The Pirates have split into two squads, Grey and Black. Both are good. Black is probably better. Their best result may well be a loss, 24-22 to Jacksonville.

Cardinal Gibbons

They are 1-2 and but still solid. Sophomore Trey Brown is a powerhouse inside center and scrumhalf Benz Celestin has been outstanding.
