We are in the middle of a very fluid time within the school seasons.

Teams who don't play (North Carolina, most of California) will likely drift down, while more and more teams are playing higher-profile matches.

This coming weekend Fairfield and SLUH both host tournaments which give everyone some crossover experience (and data). That's the sort of thing we'll see. We also have Idaho, Wisconsin, and Illinois playing more.

We do have some school teams in Illinois poised to jump in here.

Meanwhile La Salle returns to the Top 50 with a good win over St. Joe's. Archbishop Spalding, along with some good results from the likes of Salesianum, has the Maryland IAA rising in our estimation. This league has been a great thing for the game, but the level of play was chasing the level around the DMV.

But over the last year or so we are seeing the teams competing more and more. This is illustrated by Georgetown's 13-12 win over Archbishop Spalding.

By the way, we talked about some big games last week, and here's what those results did in the rankings.

Ignatius vs Gonzaga—Ignatius kept their ranking and, because they were close, Gonzaga moved up.
Herriman vs Brighton—Brighton moved down after a lopsided win for Herriman
Greenwich vs Xavier—Good for both
La Salette vs Kingfishers—Kingfishers moves up to the Top 10 after a win over La Salette
St. Thomas vs Strake Jesuit—St. Thomas wins a close one and moves up.
St. Edward vs Moeller—Moeller hangs close and moves up
Dwenger vs Penn—Pretty much what we expected
