Watch out for these games: South Carolina, Chapin v Wando. Chapin wants to be considered up among the echelon? Well now's the time. In Oregon, Union HS looks to defend their state single-school title. Outside center Chris Berry and sophomore scrumhalf Max Burchett lead Union, which, like Beaverton in the club side in Oregon, will field two teams in the league.

 In Northern California, Solo v Granite Bay is a huge one. We talk about that here. We're also interested to see if CK McClatchy can keep the wins coming - they are in the Fullerton tournament with some top SoCal teams - see here for schedule.

In the Deep South, everyone's chasing the Hurricanes, and two that are doing so are St. Paul's and Jesuit of New Orleans - they play each other, so that's kinda fun. 

If Rainier is a serious contender in Washington, then they will need to back up their win over Chuckanut with a good performance against Kent. If they do that, then watch out. In Idaho Rocky Mountain won their opener, and now they face Capital, who are pretty tough, too.

Away from the conferences, St. Igantius, the defending Ohio champions and currently ranked #18 among single-school teams, will play Penn (ranked #2), and Xavier (ranked #8), who also play each other. So that's not exactly a weak weekend for the Ohio champs. Ignatius will end up playing three state champions this month, and they have club NIT champs Royal Irish and their major rivals, St. Edward, in April.
