Baylor University has six new commits on campus now as the Bears look to bolster their depth this year.
Andrew Cayasso is a 6-3, 200 flanker who has represented the Cayman Islands U19s at 7s and 15s, and is being fast-tracked as a possible full international for Cayman. He comes in as a freshman and will be a huge (literally) addition to the back row.
Luke McCubbin is a 6-0, 180 fullback who is transferring from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, and also addresses an area where Baylor lacks depth.
Jacob McCarty is a 6-3, 220 lock out of the Cathedral Catholic program in Southern California. He has begun his freshman year at Baylor.
Dominic DePizzol is a 6-1, 210 center who was playing quarterback for Bentley University in Waltham, Mass., but is now transferring in this his sophomore year to play rugby and attend Baylor.
Preston Sanders is a 6-0, 180 wing out of the San Clemente program in Southern California. He's a true freshman.
Grant Raby is a 6-2, 210 No. 8 who adds youth and experience to the back row. He is one of three freshman recruits out of the SCIRF single-school league in Southern California, having attended St. Augustine.
