The Army West Point women's rugby topped Dartmouth 63-12 at the Anderson Rugby Complex on Friday evening in NIRA league action.
 
The Black Knights lifted their record at 1-1 on the season while Dartmouth fell to 1-1.

It was a record scoring performance by Army. Dartmouth actually opened the scoring in the 6th minute, but then junior wing Sydney Hawkins equalized by cutting through the middle of the Dartmouth defense. Rebecca Stipp's conversion made it 7-7, and then Elexa Leach went over to make it 12-7. Dartmouth tied it with nine minutes left in the first half, but Nicola Newton put Army ahead to stay.

Tries from Zye Crittington, Stipp, Taylor Jessop made it 36-12 midway through the second half. Then Jessop got her second, as did Hawkins, Stipp, and Crittington. Stipp, who added her third as time wound down, making her personal haul of points 23 with three tries and four conversions.
