Today’s USA 7s team is pretty successful, and that success is built on several foundations. One of those foundations is Zackary Test.

When the Eagles were struggling to stay competitive on the world stage, it was Test that dragged them through to better days.

It was Test who helped establish the USA as a world class restart team. It was Test who blew apart the all-time USA record for tries on the World 7s Series. It was Test who became the face and the voice of a resurgent USA team.

He did pretty well at 15s, too, playing in the 2015 Rugby World Cup and showing everyone what fitness, desire, and intensity can do. A product of the Peninsula Green HS program in Northern California, Test also can boast a Maccabia Games gold medal in his trophy chest.  His career ended prematurely due to an injury incurred playing for the 15s team, but his impact, his quality, and his importance cannot be denied.
