Kim Magrini was a powerhouse scrumhalf for Penn State and was an excellent example of how the old USA U23 program helped produce talented and smart rugby players.

Physically strong and with a snappy pass and an excellent understanding of how the rugby attack worked, Magrini was an All American at Penn State, played 17 times for the USA before retiring to pursue her law career. She ticked all the boxes as a scrumhalf and her career was hampered only by her professional aspirations.
