American International College slammed Boston College 72-21 to win the ECRC Conference Saturday.

AIC scored an early try busting the ball up the middle with the forwards, and quickly added tries out in the backs to lead 19-0. But after that, things settled down. Boston College scored a try, and seemed to clamp down on the Yellow Jackets through much of the first half.

But, with about five minutes left in the first half, Deshae Edwards burst through, and moments later Christian Adams scored to make it 33-7 at halftime, and after that AIC rolled. AIC's ball movement was impressive, and they just had too many players who are strong in the tackle, and very, very quick.

Lui Sitama, Adrian Ray, and Jihad Khabir all featured in the scoring as the Yellow Jackets put an emphatic stamp on their regular season, and set up their ACRC Bowl Series clash with Clemson in two weeks.

It was a sobering afternoon for a Boston College team that had played very strong defense throughout the fall. In on game, AIC almost equalled the number of the points that BC had allowed in the previous seven conference games.

BC holds on to 2nd in the conference and will also play in the ACRC Bowl Series.
