The Denver Barbarians squad for the USA Rugby 7s Club Nationals has been named.

Former University of Colorado All American Max de Achaval will be the flyhalf and captain of the team, and another CU standout, Logan Collins, will also suit up.

There's a strong Oklahoma University influence in the squad with former Sooner and Jenk HS star Bobby Impson in the lineup, and current Sooner Michael Al-Jiboori also named.

Also on the squad is former Texas A&M All American Hunter Leland, and Ben Pinkelman, who took a break from Colorado State to play for the Denver Barbarians and USA U20s.

Denver has appeared at 7s nationals 21 times, making the quarterfinals in each of the last 14 tournaments. They are in many ways the most constantly strong 7s club in the nation, but have never won the national championships.
