Cambridge University has confirmed their traveling squad for their trip to the USA.

The Light Blues will play the Men's Collegiate All Americans twice, including June 21 at Dartmouth College. Dartmouth is the alma mater of former All American Nate Brakely, who went on to earn his LIght Blue for Cambridge as a lock. Brakely, who is now with the New York Athletic Club, will join the Cambridge touring side to bolster their second row.

The team is a combination of youth and experience, with several players new to the squad, or having completed their first year at Cambridge, while a large chunk are graduate students, aged 23 or 24.

JWC Finalists Decided

Defending champions England will play South Africa in the IRB Junior World Championship 2014 final at Eden Park on 20 June after overcoming Ireland and hosts New Zealand respectively in enthralling last four encounters.

The two semi-finals were contrasting affairs with an English whirlwind proving too much for Ireland in their first appearance in the last four to seal a 42-15 win, before South Africa battled back with a try two minutes from time to break New Zealand hearts with a 32-25 victory.

ENGLAND 42-15 IRELAND
A blistering first-half display saw England blow first-time semi-finalists Ireland out of the water and keep their hopes of defending the title alive, the Irish simply unable to live with the English power, running lines and line speed on defence.

Japan Comeback Sinks Canada - PNC Latest

Rugby World Cup 2019 hosts Japan continued their impressive form with a 34-25 victory over Canada in the North American Conference of the IRB Pacific Nations Cup in Burnaby, BC on Saturday.

Canada looked dominant in the first half and bulled their way over for two tries to make it 18-9 just before halftime. Then right from a restart, Ciaran Hearn started a break that ended up with Taylor Paris curing around under the posts. That made it 25-9 for Canada at halftime, but the Brave Blossoms would score all of the points in the second half.

Wing Yoshikazu Fujita took the ball into the corner for the first Japan try - Canada had muffed the second-half kickoff and from the scrum the Blossoms just sliced through. That was the story thereafter as Canada's midfield defense was exposed twice more.

Japan Joins USA's Pool in RWC 2015

Tokyo - Japan will represent Asia at Rugby World Cup 2015, while Hong Kong face the long journey to Uruguay for the first round of the repechage after the Brave Blossoms clinched their seventh straight Asian 5 Nations title with a 49-8 win at Tokyo's National Stadium on Sunday evening.

“It was a tough old game but we have achieved our first goal of qualifying for the World Cup,” Japan coach Eddie Jones said after the game, the last to be played at the stadium before it is demolished to make way for a new arena that will make its debut at Rugby World Cup 2019.

“Hong Kong competed very hard at the breakdown and it was difficult to get any flow to our game. But what a beautiful ending to one of the most important grounds in Japan,” Jones told the 16,370-strong crowd after the match.
