Column - A Case for HP 7s at Youth Level
There have been a ton of articles about the quality of play at the Jr Olympics and a ton of fingers being pointed and a ton of reasons offered but I would submit the biggest reason for our failure is the program as a whole, both for 7s and for 15s. What is the root cause, lack of meaningful competition for the HS age and a complete lack of HS age HPD programs.

Loggers Fell Oregon in Serevi Cup
The Washington Loggers rode some excellent team play to victory in the Boys bracket of the Serevi Cup 7s tournament Saturday. Led by an MVP performance from Dominic Lindstrom, the Loggers beat the Northwest Nomads 47-7, Oregon II 21-7, and Eastside 52-7 to win their pool. That set up a semifinal with Oregon II, which they won comfortably.
