Walsh Heats Up in Second Half vs Rio
A strong second half saw Walsh University pull away from a hard-working Rio Grande side in an early-season runout for both NCR D1 teams.
Played at Rio Grande's home field in southern Ohio, the game was a chance for the Red Storm to bounce back from a 47-0 loss to Queens last week.
Early Season Clash Valuable and Close for Indiana and Kentucky
The fall season kicked off in impressive fashion Friday night for the University of Kentucky and Indiana University.
Kentucky hosted the Hoosiers for three games, with the Wildcats taking the C-side convincingly, and the B-side game in a somewhat closer contest.
But Indiana took the A-side match in what was a quite dramatic contest, 22-13.
NCR Finalizes Scholars Cup Schedule
NCR has confirmed the schedule for the new challenge competition, the "Scholars Cup."
This is a competition involving Dartmouth and Brown on the East Coast, Notre Dame in the Midwest, and UCLA on the West Coast.
The competition has been sponsored for three years (as we at GRR World Headquarters understand it).
Most of the games will be in October.

Queens University won the inaugural Pathway Classic collegiate match Friday night in Charlotte, defeating Ohio State.
That’s a simple way of putting what was an extremely complex match. Both sides fielded quite young sides—Queens more by choice while OSU are just like that these days—and in wet conditions both sides made several little and sometimes big errors.
