USA South Women Wins RAN 10s

The USA Rugby South women's team won the Rugby Americas North women's 10s Friday.

The 10-a-side tournament featured USA South, Trinidad & Tobago, Bahamas, and Jamaica. The South team was made up mostly of players from Life University, with a couple of players from other colleges, and was coached by Life University Women's Head Coach Rosalind Chou.

South Women Set for RAN 10s

The Women’s 10s event at the Rugby Americas North Championship is a bit of an unknown quantity, but should be intriguing just the same.

Head Coach Rosalind Chou, who led Life University to a USA Rugby/CRC 7s double this spring, was asked to take on the coaching job, and she said it will be something of a new experience for everyone.

All Americans Hang Tough, Lose to Maple Leafs

The Canada Maple Leafs defeated the USA Women's Collegiate All Americans Tuesday in Salt Lake City in a game that was very much of two halves.

The Maple Leafs, which is essentially a Canada 'A' side made up of players college age and older, started much the stronger, challenging the WCAA defense around the fringes and

All American Camp Asking Much of Elite Players

It's going to be a tough task for the Women's Collegiate All Americans Tuesday as they face the Maple Leafs out of Canada - Head Coach Susan Whitwell knows that.

But Whitwell has also had some time to work with these athletes (see the lineup for Tuesday here) and evaluate them as a unit.

Women All Americans Get Set for Maple Leafs

SALT LAKE CITY - The Women's Collegiate All Americans have been named to play the Canada Maple Leafs team in a two-game series starting Tuesday.

Head Coach Sue Whitwell had named a lineup drawing from all over, including some college students who are playing with club teams.
