Arkansas State University defeated LSU 27-17 in a non-conference match that perhaps says more good things about LSU than the Red Wolves.
For Arkansas State, it was another warmup game as they look to the start of the Mid-South conference season. Playing against the wind in the first half, ASU kept running into penalty problems around the breakdown.
Lindenwood Sweeps in Colorado
Lindenwood University (St. Charles, Mo.) rebounded from a somewhat humbling loss to Central Washington University a week ago with two victories on a trip to Colorado.
The Lions defeated the University of Colorado 84-0 on Thursday, and the United States Air Force Academy 53-7 on Saturday.
PSU Rambles Past Navy

Santa Clara defeated UCSB 53-21 Saturday to move to 1-1 in the California Conference.
While San Diego State beat Sacramento State 62-12 to move to 1-0 (SD State Rambles Past Sac State), Santa Clara put themselves in excellent position to challenge for a playoff spot out of the conference.
Cal Sweeps Arizona State, Cal Poly
BERKELEY – The Cal Golden Bears selected two evenly split teams for its doubleheader Saturday on Witter Rugby Field, where California took control of first place in the PAC Rugby Conference with a 44-16 victory over Arizona State, followed by a 73-7 win over Cal Poly.
