LSU Shakes Up SCRC With Tie vs Kentucky
LSU pulled off a huge result this weekend, holding two-time defending NCR D1AA champs Kentucky to a 31-31 tie in SCRC action.
For Kentucky, this was yet another reminder of how competitive the SCRC is, and while it’s likely the Wildcats will retain their top spot in the West due to points difference, it was a good lesson for them.
Iona Shocks Siena in Liberty Nailbiter
In a somewhat surprising result Iona logged their first conference victory of the season, holding off Siena 30-29 on Alumni Weekend at Iona.
The day was also the day for announcing inductions into the Iona Rugby Hall of Fame, and that was a big event in and of itself. However, Iona still came into the game underdogs.
D1-Level Games This Weekend

We've got Fairfield hosting Dartmouth in a clash of 4-1 teams in the Liberty.
Utah vs Air Force, Oregon vs Central Washington, and ... of course ... Wayne State vs Iowa for some of the marbles.
Arkansas State Much to Work On After Welcoming STU to D1A
Arkansas State came away with a nicely-taken 45-14 victory over new D1A team St. Thomas in Florida.
The Red Wolves traveled all the way to South Florida to welcome the Bobcats into D1A.
For Head Coach Dominic Shaw the entire experience was a chance for him to shake up his side early in the season.
