LSU Rugby Reinstated
The Louisiana State University team is back on the field after being suspended for the fall season.
The team was suspended after a player’s parent brought beer to a post-match function. The team was forced to forfeit all of its games, the ones they played and the ones they weren’t allowed to play.
Lindenwood Unveils Tough Schedule
Lindenwood University has released its Winter/Spring 2015 schedule, and it’s a tight follow-up to a long and arduous fall 2014.
On February 7 the Lions will face both New Orleans RFC men’s club and Louisiana State University. They follow that up with a trip to Las Vegas for the LVI 7s qualifier for the Collegiate Rugby Championships invitational to be held in Chester, Pa.
Cal Wins Storer Classic AgainThe University of California scored four tries and Jake Anderson added two penalty kicks, and Cal limited hosts UCLA 32-7 to win its 10th straight Storer Classic Sunday on North Athletic Field at UCLA. The Bears finished a 4-0 weekend to open their spring 15s season with 178 points scored over 160 minutes, with playing time spread among more than 50 student-athletes
Cal 3-0 at Storer Classic
The University of California won all three of their Dennis Storer Classic games Saturday at UCLA, defeating UC Davis 22-3, UC Santa Barbara 57-0, and UC Santa Cruz 62-0.
The Bears will face off with UCLA Sunday in the title match.
