Business as Usual for Cal, BYU
The two favored teams in the Varsity Cup did what they needed to do Saturday, as BYU beat a tenacious UCLA team and Cal just steamrolled Texas.
Cal ran in 16 tries, with Jake Anderson scoring three of them, as they beat the Longhorns 100-7 to make the Varsity Cup semis, where they will host Navy.

Gonzaga HS won the Jesuit Classic hosted at the fields of the Loudoun rugby program at their home fields of Morven Park in Leesburg, Va., holding off a very tough Greenwich HS in the final.

Two DIAA Conference held their semifinals on Saturday, and the semis mirrored each other somewhat.
In one game in each conference, the #1 seed won by a staggering amount. In the other, the #2 and #3 seeds were in a bit of a slugfest.
