The final ACRC Coaches Poll before the ACRC Bowl Games is out with no change in the top six. Army, of course, retains #1.
But there is a shift elsewhere. Wheeling Jesuit gets bumped up to #7. One of the strange upshots of assigning points to votes is that if everyone agrees that a specific team should be ranked in one spot, that can actually ensure the team gets moved up. In this case, WJU consistently received votes to be ranked #9. However, voters couldn't agree on who was #7 and #8, meaning that WJU actually accumulated more points than teams such as Bowling Green and Wisconsin.
Some overlooked teams such as South Carolina and North Texas get a bump this week. Tennessee, after losing to Alabama in the SCRC playoffs, naturally slides down.
