High School Boys
We do have several changes in the final Boys HS School-team Top 50, all based on results.
This has been a strange season for rivals Staples and Greenwich.
The two teams ended up facing off three times and came awfully close to making it four. Their first meeting was a regular-season game which Staples won 28-16. Their next meeting was at HS National Championships, where Greenwich garnered revenge with a 30-12 result.
There’s that old saying, be careful what you wish for, but what about the opposite?
Embrace what you dread.
With Upright Rugby having decided to pull out of the NAI 7s, there is a little extra space in the tournament for teams that were hoping to compete.
North American Invitational Sevens is set for July 22-23 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is the largest (as far as we know) rugby tournament in the Western Hemisphere, with 153 teams scheduled to compete in 13 brackets from U12 to U23.
We are wrapping up the Boys HS season with our final rankings.
Here below is the final Top 50 for High School club teams. We had a few games following the HS National Championships, most of these being championship and playoff games. In the end, we have very little to change near the top. The teams in the top 30 or so did what was expected of them and we end up not moving anyone.
