Central Wash Still #1 in West

Despite the score, a very good game occurred between Central Washington and BYU on Saturday. The pair are inarguably the two best DI teams that are competing in-season in the West right now, and the friendly offered insight into their progress as they build toward the DI Elite championship in the spring.

CWU Youngsters Aid ORSU Win

Central Washington launched into action last weekend, traveling to ORSU for an extended friendly. The Oregon side fielded a mixed squad – one with DII club and Women’s Premier League players – but it was the visitors who put the right combination on the field. The Wildcats won the 80-minute match 55-10, and then followed with a 17-3 victory during the third period.

Central Wash Plays Coast-to-Coast This Fall

Central Washington has built a diverse schedule this fall. The DI program has booked some East Coast and top-tier women’s club matches while also playing a full Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference (PMRC) lineup. That’s 11 games over seven weekends for the national 7s and 15s runner-up.
