The first day of the World University Invitational Rugby Tournament is done and here's what happened.
The Atlantic Coast All-Stars provided a bit of a surprise with a 15-13 victory over Sydney University. Details here:

They then struggled somewhat against New Zealand Universities, ultimately losing 15-3. However, they kept it close for most of the game and with 10 minutes to go in the 40-minute game it was 3-3.
