LITTLE ROCK, AR. - Women’s Collegiate All-American 7s Head Coach Dave Clancy has named his full squad for the 2019 National Development Invitational Tournament hosted by ARPTC in Little Rock, AR. The competition takes place August 17-18, featuring eight academy and invitational sides. 

The All-Americans are drawn in Pool A featuring Scion, Santa Barbra Rugby and Stars. Pool B includes ARPTC, Northeast Rugby, Armed Forces, Phoenix. 

“I am very excited by this team and this tournament, we are so lucky to have the Olympic Development Academies are doing a great job identifying club and college talent across the country. We will have so many exciting players on show to best represent the Eagles pathway,” said Coach Clancy. 

“The All-American opportunity days along with tournament scouting has led to many of these selections with some of the players impressing during the recent 15s All-American gathering to earn a spot in this 7s squad. 

“I feel the squad has a high level of athleticism and what excites me is that for the most part the players have a relatively low training age with some even coming from programs without a coach. Given that, I anticipate that their development over the course of the camp will be a steep learning curve and I am hopeful that we will find some future stars.”
