Rugby Maryland Face Welsh Tourists
Rugby Maryland will host Bryntirion Comprehensive High School from Bridgend, Wales Thursday, July 13 at Timberlawn Park in Rockville, Md.
The Maryland team is the same that finished 4th at the Northeast RCT, with three additions. EIRA Academy player Cory Levy, Ahmad Bitang, who goes to school in Kenya but is USA-qualified, and Georgetown Prep flanker Jake Hagy all augment the Maryland.
Bryntirion Comprehensive School is based in Bridgend, South Wales and returns to the USA three years after a successful rugby and soccer tour to Colorado in 2014. Bryntirion is taking 19 students and four staff on a ten-day tour of the USA and will also travel to Philadelphia and New York.
Kickoff is 7:15pm.
