NCR's men's all-star championship kicks off Saturday in Atlanta with a bit of a new look.
The pool-play format has shifted to a bracket format, with eight teams playing in the quarterfinals and semifinals on Saturday. Those games will be shortened, and then everyone will play a placement game on Sunday that will be a bit longer.
Players from every division of NCR (and some non-NCR teams) are participating, and it's not always about who has the most high-division players. Often it's about which team can put it all together as a unit.
We will list the rosters below, but here's the opening quarterfinal matchups:
New England Red vs Mid-Atlantic Sharks
Great Lakes Thunderbirds vs Tri-State Foundry
Midwest Barbarians vs Western Bison
Southeast Bears vs New England White
All games will be on https://tv.ncr.rugby/ ($12.99 for the weekend).
