The National Athletic Village Sevens program is recruiting players for this summer.

Player location does not matter, but players must commit to three of the four tournaments planned for the summer, the training camp, and the national championship weekend. There has not been an announcement on the national championship weekend, but the expectation is a mid-August date (venue to be announced also).

Even how a team qualifies has not been release, but NAV 7s expected to play in the Mid-Atlantic region, and if not there, then the best fit.

Here is the proposed schedule:

August 13-15th – National Championship Weekend – TBD

Players from NAV 7s have gone on to play professionally, play internationally and receive invitations to national team camps. The program is led by Justin-Kyle Anderson and managed by Robert Bortins. The team finished 11th in the 2019 USA Rugby Sevens National Championships, and is looking for 14 players with a desire to be elite and compete for a national championship. Spots will be competitive.

Cost will be determined as we find out more about summer plans. Players will be expected to get to the tournament and pay for their own meals. The team will provide entry fee, water/fluids, and appropriate game day food. Players will receive a set of team shorts and a warmup.
