Leinster Rugby is a world-leading professional and amateur rugby organization located in Dublin, Ireland, with an unrivaled track record in rugby talent development. Leinster’s rugby athletes currently represent over 70% percent of the Irish Rugby national team, currently ranked second by World Rugby. Leinster has won the United Rugby Championship (and before that, when the league called the Pro 14 and the Pro 12) six times since 2013 and is a nine-time European Champions Cup finalist since 2009.
"Leinster Rugby wants to continue building The School of Excellence Rugby Camps in the USA with Syracuse University," said Leinster SOE Director Colin O’Hare. "Our goal is to deliver world-class coaching, foster player development, and help grow the game of rugby at all levels in the United States."
O'Hare said the camp is useful for players of all skill levels, from those new to the game to players looking to play at an elite level.
"Whether you're a young aspiring player or a high-performance athlete, this camp provides top-tier coaching, structured development, and a pathway to higher levels of competition," O'Hare continued. "And Syracuse University has been a great partner. They have a strong rugby history, and they understand the growth potential of rugby in the US market. They have helped Leinster Rugby create a presence in America and they share our vision changing rugby in the States.
