In our GRR form asking players to tell us their college commits, we have a special question.
That question is: Did You Use Next Phase Rugby?
Now, remember that Next Phase Rugby is not only a GRR sponsor, GRR Editor Alex Goff is actually a partner in the company. We freely admit we're promoting the college recruiting app here (go to nextphaserugby.com ... see?). But the stats were giving you here are very interesting.
Of the responses we received in the past week, half of the student-athletes used Next Phase Rugby. Many use them to find that perfect college program. Others use it to develop their list or to see what programs reach out. Others use the app by taking their long list of schools, and then whittling that list down using the app. There are many ways to use it.
The 50% stat doesn't include the recruits we garner from other sources, but it's worth noting that Lander University Women's Head Coach Ken Paper told GRR directly that he has brought in a very high percentage of what is an impressive freshman class using Next Phase Rugby.
