We see several big changes this week in the GRR School Top 50.
Much of this is based on Round 4 of the Rugby PA season, which saw St. Joe's Prep tie LaSalle and saw Malvern Prep also get another good result. Malvern lost to LaSalle and we were waiting on what that meant. Now we have both come in.
Some very close losses gave a bump to Lake Travis and St. Martin's. And a really close win, for Fairfield Prep, sees them move up eight spots. With the upcoming Gonzaga Tournament, which includes BC High, Gonzaga, LaSalle and club teams such as the Charlotte Cardinals, Fort Hunt, and Raptor Rugby, and the SLUH tournament, which includes SLUH, Marquette, La Salette, and St. Thomas Aquinas, we could see some more shifting.
We also have the Texas-LA Varsity Cup playoffs, and also Rye vs Greenwich is a huge one in the Tri-State area.
And, of course, we've got #1 vs #2, Xavier of New York vs St. Ignatius. We will look a bit closer at these games later but, here are a couple of quotes:
