Unsurprisingly, we don't have major moves in the Top 10, but we do move some things around.
Eastside out of Washington might well cry foul because they won a playoff game and moved down. Yes, that is what happened. But a couple of fairly dominant playoff wins moved SOC and Charlotte Tigers up. We don't really think Granite Bay should have been at #11 and #10 seems better, especially when we didn't factor in last week's win over Danville into the equation. It all seemed more of a correction. Lamorinda getting close to San Mateo moves them up 13 spots. A few other teams move up slightly.
The HS National Championships will once again be a wonderful clash of teams with plenty of matchups that could go either way.
The opening round will see #1 vs #9, #2 vs #7, #3 vs #11, #4 vs #5, and also #8, #12, #14, #16, #18, #22 playing. We'll see who should be where after that for sure.
