That is why Life is in the D1 Elite final.
"We are a group of workers that will no doubt put in 100% effort on the pitch this Saturday and work to bring home Life's first women's 15s rugby national championship title," she added.
Hamdan started playing at Lakewood HS in the Cleveland area. It was there, she said, "when I first fell in love with rugby. Rugby was such a rush. It was just so new to me, so different and so exciting. Yhe people I met and continued to meet along the way became some of my closest friends or some my most memorable of times. Lakewood High School introduced me to the rush of the game and that took me to where I am now, about to take the pitch in a National championship."
That was a special time, and the team she's on now is a special one, too.
"It's truly a one-of-a-kind team," enthused Hamdan. "My teammates and I have been grinding hard since this year started when we were doing broken broncos, Bridget specials, lacy interludes, esco experiences ... and the demolition dameos were probably the worst! This group has worked so hard for and with each other and I hope I can work as hard as I know they are working for me. I'm just really grateful and ready to take the field with these workers on Saturday."
Life plays Lindenwood at 4PM CT Saturday live on The Rugby Network.
