Gamebreakers This Week in Men's D1 College Rugby
Here are our D1-level Gamebreakers for the Weekend of October 22-23.
Lawula Bata, Wheeling
Bata’s 70-meter gallop just before halftime flipped the momentum against Adriana and sparked a 26-16 victory for the Cardinals.
Luke Connor, Kansas
Dubbed “The General” by his teammates, the Jayhawks’ scrumhalf ran a potent attack that was effective with the wind (28-0) and against the wind (17-0) in a victory over Arkansas.
Fadzai Mushonga, Notre Dame College
The NDC wing scored two crucial tries late in the game against Kutztown, including the one that set up Lachy McDonald’s game-winning conversion.
All in a day's work. Fadzai Mushonga scores two tries, including the game-winner, and he's all "yeah, job not done" @NDCFalconRugby @NDCFalcons @RugbyEastD1A pic.twitter.com/5TpQXpOMJE

Michael Amberg, Army
The West Point wing scored four tries, including three in the second half, to spark the Black Knights to a 34-0 victory over Mount St. Mary’s.
Hilton Olivier, Queens University Charlotte
Olivier scored three tries and converted five for a personal haul of 25 points as the Royals beat Mary Washington.
Peyton Wall, Indiana
The IU winger was a potent attacker for the Hoosiers as they defeated Wisconsin in their first on-campus home game in almost three years.
Will Meckauskas, Kentucky
In a tight 8-0 win over Clemson, the Wildcat lock was a high work-rate presence hitting rucks, securing possession, and playing tough defense in a game where all of those things were at a premium.
Francisco Sied, Life University
The Running Eagles' blindside flanker led his team in tackles and, tellingly, missed zero tackle attempts as he led a strong forward effort vs. BYU, a game that Life won 24-14.
PJ O’Reilly, Kutztown
In a one-point loss to Notre Dame College, O’Reilly was a constant offensive threat and a stalwart leader.
