Levi Van Lanen, UW Whitewater
The Warhawks have a fairly young backline but the experienced and talented Van Lanen has them working nicely together, and he sparked a 57-17 defeat of Minnesota-Duluth.
Benni Hund, Queens University Charlotte
A former wrestler, Hund has emerged as a hugely effective prop forward for Queens, and he scored a try in a massive win for QUC over VMI.
Nik Koumandarakis, Furman (pictured)
The Furman captain and center was huge defensively and also scored two tries as Furman beat rival UNC Charlotte 23-17.
Louis Saladino, UMass Dartmouth
The UMass Dartmouth center scored two tries in the the first half to set up his team for a 19-0 halftime lead and an eventual 24-12 defeat of Western New England in the Colonial Coast.
Sujai Ikemefuna, Bethel
The 6-3, 200-pound center from Jackson, Miss. scored two tries as Bethel defeated Central Michigan 46-15.
George Haikal, Marquette
In a defensive battle, the Marquette scrum half proved invaluable in keeping his squad on task. He was named the game MVP and Marquette beat UW-Platteville 10-5.
Kevin Ferryman, Scranton
Ferryman torched Millersville 67-12, and Ferryman scored three tries in the effort as Scranton most to 2-0 in MARC conference play.
Jean Morgan, Weber State
The Weber State center scored a try late in the game against Colorado Mesa, turning a 15-12 deficit into a 17-15 victory for Weber.
Craig Crossley, UMass-Lowell
Crossley scored three tries as Lowell defeated Middlebury 22-12 in a conference game.
Ben Aubuchon, Salve Regina
Aubuchon wasn’t a big scorer for Salve as the team beat Mass Maritime 55-0, but his powerful running and playing smart in the breakdown set it up for everyone else to score.
Kyle Bulkley, Sacred Heart
The Sacred Heart flanker scored a key early try and a key late try to help lead his team to a 43-29 victory over Hartford.
