Gamebreakers in Men's D2 College This Week
We seem to have a number of locks in our list and a nice variety of players who excelled on attack, on defense, in space and in traffic—here are our Men's D2 Gamebreakers for the weekend of September 24.
Dominic Kowalik, USMMA
The lock constantly broke through the lines to get his side going forward and also scored two tries as Kings Point beat RPI 50-0.
Nathanael Taylor, UMass Lowell
The Lowell captain scored 26 points as his side defeated Bentley, and that included 9-of-12 conversions, many of those from difficult angles.
Connor Hogg, Southeastern Louisiana
The lock scored two tries against Louisiana Tech and once again led a strong forward effort in a win in the Deep South Conference for SE La.
Colton Moyer, IUP
A key try and an excellent job in the lineout put lock Colton Moyer and his #1-ranked IUP Hawks on the front foot against Kent State.
Dale Hartmann, Auburn
Hartmann was massive against Spring Hill, testing Spring Hill’s backline and also playing strong defense.
Andrew Matoka, Principia
In an impressive overall team showing where they beat Northern Iowa 72-20, the Thunder Chickens’ fullback scored four tries.
TJ Finegan, Marist
The Marist No. 8 scored three tries as his team beat the Fairfield D2 side in emphatic fashion.
Will Cambio, Marquette
Bolstered by a strong forward performance the Marquette backline took it to UW-Milwaukee. Cambio was elusive and direct and scored multiple tries in the victory.

Bryce Palmer, Central Missouri
The UCM scrumhalf directed a really effective attack in his side’s shutout win over John Brown.
Owen Reinhart, Washington University
Two tries and a strong physical presence helped Reinhart lead Washington University to a 52-5 win over Southern Illinois.
Marius Edwards, Norwich
Edwards blew apart the Cadets’ match with Providence, scoring three tries in quick succession to turn a still-competitive game into a rout.
Bryce Lanser, Northern Michigan
Lanser’s late try sealed a tight win for NMU over Wisconsin-Platteville.
