Here are a few of the players who had strong performances in Boys HS rugby over the weekend.
Dondre Ross
The co-captain and fullback for Conestoga, he was an attacking force on counterattacks and inserting into the line as Conestoga beat Unionville and Bishop Shanahan in Pennsylvania.
Fermin Moraiz
The shifty flyhalf had a breakout performance for Greenwich in their dramatic win over Xavier. A good player last year, Moraiz has emerged as one of the team’s best.
Case Ellis
The Jesuit of New Orleans Blue Jays back scored a crucial try and was named player of the game by St. Paul's as Jesuit defeated St. Paul's in the Deep South semis.
Malik Fisher
In Xavier’s close loss to Greenwich, the Xavier No. 8 scored two tries and made a dramatic try-saving tackle.
Elijah Bittinger
The Royal Irish wing scored the game-winning try for his team in a 10-8 result over St. Ignatius.
Patrick Madden
In a weekend where the San Diego Young Aztecs needed to win two games to make the playoffs, Madden led the attack at flyhalf and in the second game, scored 33 points.

The back row of Gonzaga led the Eagles in a tough 20-10 win over Georgetown Prep.

The Red Mountain No. 8 led from the front, active in the breakdown and a tough defender as his team beat Desert Vista for the Arizona state championship.

Scored three tries for the Las Vegas Black Hawks in a win over touring Australia team Cranbrook HS.
Chrstian Dyer
The Jesuit center was brilliant and a leader as Jesuit defeated Rangitoto of New Zealand.
Will Vakalahi
The Penn HS center scored two tries in Penn’s win over Brownsburg.
Nathan Palmer
The Eastside forward scored a long-range try and dominated in the lineouts in a key 12-12 tie with Rugby Washington league-leaders Rainier.
Cameron Tibbetts and Freddy Purdy
The Lassiter Trojans players were outstanding in helping the Trojans win the Georgia state title. Purdy kicked three penalty goals in the 21-19 victory.
Campbell Robinson
Phoenix No. 8 was again strong in a close loss in the Georgia state final.
