Gamebreakers - DI College Men
Who were our gamebreakers this week? It's pretty front-row-heavy this week. Even one of our backs is actually a hooker.
Colin Thul
The Tennessee prop is the captain of the Volunteers and was the key to Tennessee controlling the scrums in an hugely important 32-10 victory over Georgia.
Dan Collins
The senior Gonzaga HS product is normally a hooker for Clemson, but against Maryland on Friday was asked to step in at flyhalf when to fill in for injuries in the backs. He might be a hooker, but he understands the flow of the game and executed the Clemson attack. Then two days later, Owen Skonecki went down with an injury and Collins slotted in once again at flyhalf, despite being on the bench as cover for hooker. He played 140 minutes over the weekend, out of position, and led Clemson to two victories.
Hayden Aldredge
On a solid weekend for Dartmouth where several players stood out in their two Ivy League victories - Jon Abraham scored five tries - No. 8 Aldredge was the guy who cleaned up problems, set up tries, and made the lineout work.
Johan Van Wyk
The Kutztown prop scored two tries at key moments to spearhead a sterling forward effort and a second-half surge that sealed a win for KU over Army Saturday.
Skyler Adams
The AIC prop and captain was central to a set piece dominance for AIC in their victory over UConn. In addition, he combined with his fellow forwards to score what was the try of the night.
Tohy Rakotovololona
The junior utility back for Michigan returned from injury and slotted in at wing for the Wolverines against Iowa. He scored two tries and was 9-12 on conversions for a personal haul of 28 points.
Jake Moore and Eric Lalley
The Cincinnati center (Moore) and No. 8 (Lalley) led the Bearcats to a superb win over Bowling Green.
