Bradenton, Fla. — Europe’s biggest rugby sevens series, LIT7s, is crossing the Atlantic for its first-ever US tournament. The LIT Florida International 7s will take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Premier Sports Campus in Bradenton, Florida, during Thanksgiving weekend.
The event will feature men’s and women’s adult and youth divisions, offering Elite, Open, and Social competition levels for players from across the U.S. and abroad. Fans can expect a festival-style atmosphere with great food, pitch-side bars, music, and nonstop entertainment throughout the day.
“We’re so excited to bring the LIT7s experience to the U.S.,” said Ellaine Gelman, CEO of LIT7s. “Our tournaments have become famous for their energy, inclusivity, and fun—and we can’t wait to share that with the American rugby community.”
LIT7s has been organizing international rugby tournaments for over 13 years, hosting teams from France, Fiji, South Africa, China, and Hong Kong, among others. The brand has also built a strong presence in the US through its LIT Rugby Sevens Camps, featuring Olympic stars such as Perry Baker, Naya Tapper, Carlin Isles, and Kelly Griffin. The next camp will be held November 14–16, 2025 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, offering players the chance to train with world-class coaches ahead of the Florida tournament.
