We enter a fairly complex time in the School rankings as more leagues are about to get started, but they haven't started yet.

So we do have several teams waiting in the wings to be potential ranked programs, and we also have some other teams that don't look like they will play anytime soon. They are all waiting.

Meanwhile, other leagues are about to start, and some already have. We're not about to penalize anyone (St. Edward? St. Ignatius?) too heavily for a big early-season loss to a well-regarded opponent, but we will remember those results if they struggle later. You will notice we've added five teams to the list to make it 30. We'll get to our normal Top 50 eventually. All of the teams we added have either started playing or will play this weekend.

(Additional note: Snow Canyon is out because we have been informed that they switched to HS club status this year after many years as a single-school team. Watch for them in the HS Club rankings.)

We debated moving Herriman up further than just one spot, but the national title contender has to play someone else before we do that. And yes did say in the video below that we're wary of teams that just have mostly competitive losses on their resume, but we still ranked two teams that did just that ... just not that highly.
