Arizona State scored two late tries to overcome a much improved Oregon State team and win a PAC Rugby Conference game 34-29.
The win finished ASU's conference season, and puts the Sun Devils at 3-2, good for 3rd. Meanwhile, Oregon State drops to 0-4, and the Beavers face Arizona Sunday to finish off the conference season for both teams. Both Arizona and OSU are looking for their first win.
"I thought OSU were a very well-prepared side," said ASU Coach Gary Lane. Certainly the Beavers pushed the Sun Devils, who wore down the Oregon State defense late in the game.
