NYAC finally got a win in the ARP as they defeated Old Blue 27-24, after a series of close losses.
Aiden Kerr, Jacob Merklinger, and Red Hansen all scored tries for NYAC, while OLd Blue got four tries—Dominic Sole, Reinier Pieters, Joe Iye, and Ryo Higashida.
But the different was goalkicking, as Erwan Nicolas was once again excellent for NYAC, converting all three tries and adding two penalty goals to seal the win.
Mystic River and White Plains finally got to play a full-length game and Mystic came out winners 47-28, handing White Plains their first loss.
Two tries from Leander McQuade and two from former Boston College standout Connor Robinson led the charge for Mystic. Former Life University captain and current Eagle Mitch Wilson had a big day at fullback and he converted six of the seven tries for the Boston-area team. For White Plains, Ray Weiner continues to get over the tryline while Eric Naposki has been huge as a leader and a goalkicker.
In the South, Atlanta rebounded from last week’s loss to Life with a 52-5 defeat of Miami. Three tries from Chris Bagby, two from Giovani Douyon, and some snapyp goalkicking from Shea O’Hanlon paced the Atlanta side
