2016 Boys HS Club Rankings #6
This week's Boys HS Club rugby rankings are full of changes. teams that haven't been playing have done enough to bump themselves up, and some others have done enough to bump themselves down.
We have expanded the list to 50 now, and we know there's a long list of teams who haven't played at all that could break in.
Here's the rundown.
2016 Boys Single-School Rankings #6
Not surprisingly, there's a little bit of a shakeup in the Boys Single-School rankings this week, as more and more teams take the field.
2016 Boys HS Club Rankings #5
The #1 spot for the Boys HS Club rankings remains occupied by Royal Irish, even though they've lost two games. Those losses, though, were a) very close and b) to top-ranked single-school teams.
Until we get someone knocking off a highly-ranked team (single-school or club), Royal Irish will have to stay there. Solo, Danville, Red Mountain have all missed chances, so we have to wait.
2016 Boys Single-School Rankings #5
There's some movement in the Boys Single-School Rankings, with Penn edging up despite Herriman's excellent 7s performance, on the basis of a pretty great 15s performance in Lindenwood.
2016 Boys HS Club Rankings #4
It's a weird thing when the #1-ranked team loses and stays #1. In this case, with this week's HS Club Rankings, Royal Irish lost by 2 points to the #1 Single-School team, so, really, there's nothing in it and they stay at the top.
