John Mitchell on Uruguay

USA MNT Head Coach John Mitchell gave a brief statement at a press conference in Montevideo this week.

Mitchell was guarded in his comments about the USA's loss to Brazil, but noted that a large number of players had received their first caps during the Americas Rugby Championship, and that development of future Eagles was still a big part of the tournament.

Eagles Fly in to Uruguay

The USA still has one more game to play in the Americans Rugby Championship, and a win would assure the Eagles of 2nd place in the competition, and keep them in with a chance for 1st.

Some players have rejoined the USA team. NYAC lock-flanker Nate Brakeley has rejoined the squad, as has Lindenwood center Lorenzo Thomas.
