NE Academy Squads Named for NY 7s
The Northeast Academy has named its squads to play in the New York 7s this weekend.
The Academy will field three men's teams, drawn mostly from college products in New York and New England. The program will also field a HS team made up of players from high school programs in the Boston area.

The University of Alabama did it again.
Two years after pulling off a shock semifinal victory in the SCRC, the Crimson Tide pulled off two upsets in dramatic, iff different, fashion to win the conference this past weekend.
NDC Slogs Through Mud for Win
Sunday’s DIAA semifinal in Pittsburgh was exactly the opposite of what Notre Dame College wanted.
The Falcons wanted dry conditions, and a chance for open running. Instead, they got a mud bowl, and a big, physical University of Cincinnati team that looked at least a little more comfortable playing in that mud.

So let’s get this straight: you’ve got a prop who is, if we’re being charitable, almost 5-10, who takes care of the scrum and battles in tight, but is also one of his college team’s best runners, passes from the lineout like a scrumhalf (because the scrumhalf is throwing into said lineout), and is the co-captain of the team.
