Queens Opens Rugby Seasons With Two Wins
CHARLOTTE, NC – The Queens University of Charlotte men’s and women’s rugby teams opened there inaugural seasons over the weekend with a pair of wins. The men defeated Furman’s B squad by a score of 63-13 while the women defeated Elon, 94-0.

In a entertaining and rainy day of rugby the UMW Futures side beat Christendom College 36-19 and the UMW first side ran out a 63-5 decision over the Griffins u23 side from NoVA.

Two years ago RPI tok the conference, and while the Engineers made the playoffs this year, they weren't as strong and didn't quite pull off the repeat.
