Some teams are poised to make a move to challenge #1. Playoffs are coming.

Meanwhile, new teams St. Thomas and American River make moves. San Jose State isn't a new team, but they are making a move too. their win over Chico State was a good one.

As we moved around the ranked teams we had to put Los Alamitos higher.

Should we have moved BYU to #1?

It's a very legitimate question, and maybe if we didn't have a bunch of other big games coming up for various teams we might have. But of course BYU did lose to Lindenwood. So the net question is ...

We do have a couple of new teams in our Top 40.

San Jose State is battling in a very tough California Conference and with a 27-26 win over Stanford they bump themselves in. Stanford, for their part, are right on the cusp.

Woodlands inches up after a win over a very good St. Martin's team, but that's not to say Okapi isn't as good—we've got a lot of games ahead to figure that out.

Victories over ranked teams saw Marin and Vienna move up a little bit, and Boca slightly more than that.

Jumping into the Top 50 is Scottsdale, which won over Brophy Prep in impressive fashion.
