PRESS RELEASE (Ellensburg, Wash.) – USA Rugby AIG Women’s Junior All-American interim Head Coach Wil Snape has selected the starting XV for Wednesday’s match against Canada, the first of two in the Under-20 Can-Am Series powered by ATAVUS at Central Washington University.
The Women's Junior All Americans will soon be assembling in Ellensburg, Wash., and interim head coach Wil Snape has brought nearly half of last year’s squad to the 2015 Can Am Series. BOULDER, Colo. – Interim Head Coach Wil Snape has selected the touring squad for the USA Rugby AIG Women’s Junior All-Americans’ two-match series against Canada this month.
The invitations started going out Sunday night, a day after the Women’s Junior All American (WJAA) selection camp wrapped up in Greeley, Colo. Interim head coach Wil Snape and staff have the Can-Am series for which to prepare, and the team will reassemble on August 15 at Central Washington University for matches against Canada U20s on Aug. 19 and 22.
Thirty-five U20 women are heading to Greeley, Colo., for the USA Rugby Women's Junior All American (WJAA) camp, which takes place from July 22-25. WJAA interim head coach Wil Snape, aided by camp assistant coaches Kate Daley and Kitt Wagner Ruiz, will use the assembly to name the Can-Am squad that faces the Canada U20s on Wednesday.
